Hi Everyone,

I love using highlighters for a gorgeous glow these days and I had to add a new one to my stash. I have the triple baked blusher from this brand in the shade Peachy Pink, but these days I love to use products that show up better on my skin. To be honest, peach and soft pinks do not work well on my dark skin. I always prefer deeper shades and when I saw this one, I immediately fell in love. My Experience with I Heart Revolution Dragon’s Heart Highlighter:

Packaging: The packaging of the product is very similar to Too Faced Blushes. It comes in a strong heart shaped cardboard box, which is pretty hard and cannot be damaged easily. Still I would have preferred a plastic packaging more. Inside this heart shaped box, comes a white plastic pan that bears the highlighter strips. The box comes in a paper box bearing product related details. Both the outer carton and the pan is golden in color with a golden reddish flame on it which resembles to the fire that a dragon breathes out. It is very much in sync with the highlighter colors. The packaging is medium sized and fit for travel purposes. There is no mirror or applicator attached with the packaging which it is not a con for me but might be for some. Overall, I love the packaging of the product.

Color: The colors of the strips will definitely remind you of fire. The colors are all vibrant, bright and definitely warm toned. It will show up and look good on all skin tones however, will flatter dusky beauties more. You can use each of these five shades differently or blend them all together. All the colors are shimmery. The first one is a pinkish red shade. The second one is a coral-pink shade. The third shade is a pale golden shade. The fourth one is a pearly white shade which does not look flattering on my skin tone. The last one is a true, rich, golden shade. When mixed together, all these give a beautiful rosy pink color. It is like a deep rose gold highlighter for me. I can use it alone as a highlighter or apply it on my blush to get a glow. I love this color a lot on my skin tone.

Texture: The texture is very soft and silky which was pretty unexpected as the product is very affordable. It did not feel patchy and chalky and blended smoothly on the skin. It does not feel rough even if you use it on the eyes. It is super lightweight. It never clogs pores and causes breakouts. There is no fallout during application and the shimmers stay in place throughout.

Staying Power: It stays on for 5-6 hours and then fades away evenly. I would have loved it more if the wear time was longer than this.
