ascara is a game changer for someone like me who isn’t blessed with long dense lashes. I love a good mascara for everyday use as it gives an illusion of wide awake healthy looking eyes. For the same reasons I keep on trying new mascaras every now and then. Recently I came across The Body Shop Lash Hero Fibre Extension Mascara which is supposed to give you fuller & voluminous lashes. 

Instantly volumises and extends the appearance of lashes. Lash Hero Fibre Extension Mascara is a two-step mascara, combining a base mascara formula with lengthening fibres. Available in four high impact hues.

• Apply the first coat of mascara onto the lashes.
• Apply a layer of the fibres over.
• Finish by sealing the lashes with a second coat of mascara.

The Body Shop Lash Hero Fibre Extension Mascara is available in 3 shades – Barbosa Emerald, London Jet and Texas Topaz . I have london jet which is jet black mascara. It has fibres on one end and liquid / mascara on the other.

You have to apply a quote of mascara first and then go with the fibre coat and another coat of mascara to seal in fibres. I personally don’t like dry fibres since the fly everywhere, get into the eyes and cause irritation. I had a hard time wearing The Body Shop Lash Hero Fibre Extension Mascara because the fibres made my eyes itch and watery.

The mascara is quite volumising and gives illusion of dense thicker lashes. I like how it makes my non-existent lashes visible and glamorous. The formula stays on for good 6-8 hours on me and I don’t see any fading or crumbling during the wear time.

I love the idea of adding fibres in mascara formula as they add so much volume and length to lashes. However I prefer fibres to be included in the wet formula itself so that it doesn’t fly and get into the eye.
