Bath and Body Works Almond and Vanilla Fine Fragrance Mist Review

Hello Beauties,

I have been an ardent fan of Bath and Body Works products, but unfortunately, it’s difficult to get most of these here in India. I really don’t know how they come up with different combinations for their skin products as the same way we do trial and error in the kitchen. So this time around, it was their spice range that intrigued me. They say that it works best when it’s used with the entire range i.e. Body Oil, Body scrub, Body Wash and Body cream, and I picked up four of their products. Not that I was a big fan of their smell, but I thought I should give it a try.

Fragrance: I am a huge fan of vanilla and hence I was immediately drawn to this on first sight. It has a rich almond and Vanilla fragrance, and not at all like those light and fruity scents. I felt that the aroma is a perfect blend of almond and vanilla with a slight hint of musk. It lasts long, though strong initially and then mellows down to the lightest of scent.

Packaging: This comes in a beautiful brown long bottle with the brand logo in white. It is made of good quality plastic and is not flimsy like other plastic bottles. It isn’t transparent so maybe a difficult task to know about the quantity, but it is possible if you turn it upside down or shake it (I hope you understand what I mean here). It has a long nozzle spray like most body mists. The cap is transparent in colour and seals well. It’s a convenient, fuss-free plastic bottle and very convenient to use and carry. I love the details of the packaging, designs in green and product description in white. The cap is quite secure and hence there is no chance of product leakage. I wish that they had a smaller lip, rather than a long one because, if you are clumsy or don’t place it well, it may just fall off or break. It is travel-friendly as well.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Almond and Vanilla Fine Fragrance Mist:

As this is a body mist, the fragrance is mild and very refreshing. The fragrance starts off with a fresh vanilla and almond, ending with a warm and soothing musk. It has a mix of a lot of scents and it is hard to describe it in one word. I would say it ranges from floral, earthy, woody and musky. It lasts for about 1-2 hours at the most, after which you need to reapply. Just in case you layer it on over your favourite perfume/ spray or body lotion, it would last longer. I have tried spraying it on my clothes and body and the lasting power is just as same. Another plus point of this mist is that it doesn’t stain the clothes. I sprayed it directly on my clothes and there were absolutely no stains on my clothes.

This can be used anytime, when you are out of your shower, day time, or at night time. I normally use it along with a body lotion. Ideally, if it is in the same range, it would work well, or else there would be a clash of fragrances. The scent is very fresh, lively and very feminine.
