My clothes, shoes and makeup has to coordinate. Though I don’t prefer loud or dark make up for work, I am at my jazzy best at events and functions. I ended up at Sephora as I was sure to find a suitable one for my skin tone and color, as I would not be bound to a single cosmetic company there and can explore more. My Experience with Smashbox Color Correcting Stick Look Less Tired – Dark:

Thanks to IMBB again for educating that color correctors exist in the world of makeup and how much they help in enhancing the makeup. A clean and clear finish gives a neat canvas to draw the beautiful colors of makeup. A concealer, foundation, powder and corrector are a must for makeup to look good and present the way it was applied. After a huge effort of eye makeup, I used to be disappointed that the makeup never showed up the way I applied it, and spent effort on it. One reason was the oily eyelids, which would crumple any best quality eye shadow that I try. After a lot of trial and error, I finally landed with one, the MAC Prep+ prime 24-hour Extended Eye base. Well with regard to my not so much but still there kind of dark circles, the Smashbox Color Correcting Stick Look Less Tired Dark- Orange did wonders for me. The SA at the store said that my complexion was warm toned and I had a pinkish fair complexion. She said that the orange based corrector would conceal my dark circles very well and helped me choose the right foundation, concealer along with this.

Smashbox Color Correcting Stick Look Less Tired Dark- Orange is a crayon type pencil stick that has a cap and comes along with a sharpener. The black plastic cap fits tightly. The pencil is black colored and has a little orange color at the end, which makes it easier to choose the pencil from a bunch. The sharpener that came along helps sharpen the product well with minimal wastage.

The corrector is light orange in color and is easier to apply in the areas of concern. Near the eye area, which has thin skin and is relatively sensitive, the corrector is easier to apply and blends smoothly without much of a tug or pull. It settles well in the area without looking made up. There is no greasiness or oiliness at all. A layer of concealer above this is sufficient to cover my dark circles and I am all set for the eye makeup. I have normal to dry skin tone and the concealer works really well. I haven’t found a better product than this to cover my dark circles. Despite the product being expensive, I do not mind the price at all for the excellent output that I have received. Please do not hesitate to give this a try whenever you can and see all your dark circles vanish like “Voooosh”.
